We have a new range of planters (River City) which is proving very popular.
Ficus Lyrata in Hendra 66. This planter has a concrete finish.
There have been a few new plant species introduced in the last couple of years:
Zanzibar Gem: The thick glossy leaves and compact growth habit makes this a fabulous indoor plant, especially in low light. This plant is always a talking point as some people think it is artificial.
Schefflera Alpine Junior: An exciting form of Umbrella Tree with a distinct columnar habit. Growing taller that width, it is noted for its deep green foliage and excellent indoor performance. Height to 1.8m width 60-90cm.
Dracaena Draco: Dracaena draco has attractive blue-green leaves may grow up to 60cm long and 5cm wide. The leaves are somewhat severe, stiffly pointed that end in something resembling a spike. The Dracaena draco will grow to 0.9-1.2m (3-4 feet) indoors given the right conditions. Unlike the Yucca, the leaves droop and are not as dangerous to the eyes.
